This will be an active, hands-on class addressing basic spinal biomechanics and associated soft tissue strain patterns to release the spine at core levels. Structural strategies, palpation and assessment skills, and joint and myofascial mobilization techniques will be covered. Joint play, end range and leverage concepts will also be covered. Associated craniosacral and visceral anatomy will be discussed. This class will compliment a massage therapist's current skills and offer new ways of helping clients with back pain.
